A-CSM course
You'll be better equipped to navigate the needs of your organization and teams with the skills you learn in this certification course. In this course, you will go beyond the basic scrum framework and acquire new skills and techniques essential for advanced scrum practitioners, including facilitation and the building blocks of scaling scrum.
Here are some of the capabilities you'll take away:
-
Facilitate discussions between the product owner, scrum team, customers, stakeholders, and executives
-
Coach, teach, and mentor teams and the entire organization in the use of scrum
-
Address common challenges like resistance to change, low motivation, and lack of engagement
-
Increase team involvement, accountability, and dedication
-
Effectively scale scrum and agile practices beyond single teams
The degree to which the A-CSM course covers these topics, particularly the scrum master's responsibilities to facilitate, coach, and teach, is unparalleled. You'll discover an in-depth treatment of these topics in the Scrum Alliance A-CSM course.
What is an advanced scrum master?
The A-CSM certification prepares you to move beyond the foundational scrum practices and into more complex responsibilities. If you want to grow into a role with more impact and influence on teams and your organization, then the A-CSM is right for you. See the learning objectives to find out more about A-CSM.
What to expect?
While the CSM is an introductory qualification for scrum practitioners, the A-CSM is the next level in the career path if you want to navigate more challenging obstacles and initiatives at work.
Who should take the course?
The A-CSM is worth it for professionals who want to deepen their scrum expertise and take their careers to the next level while joining a select group of scrum masters who have gone above and beyond the foundational CSM.
How do I get the A-CSM
If you already have a CSM certification from the Scrum Alliance and 12 months of experience as a scrum master, attend an A-CSM course and complete the course requirements to earn your A-CSM license.
You can take the course without fulfilling the work experience requirement. However, you must complete 12 months of experience before accepting the license. You can leverage what you learn in the A-CSM on the job!
Commitments
No exam at the course end, but homework is extensive.
You will need to seriously commit to this course in order to finish it and to experiment and apply knowledge during the course time.
